Dr. Junsuke Maki graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis and attended SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Maki continued his medical training and pursued his Gastroenterology and Hepatology fellowship at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he specialized in the areas of inflammatory bowel disease and esophageal disorders.

Dr. Maki is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association and American College of Gastroenterology. He has published in the field of inflammatory bowel disease and gastrointestinal disorders.
